Dr. Khoudary is a board-certified allergist. He received his medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine in Aleppo, Syria, and his internship/residency in pediatrics was completed at Columbia University at Harlem Hospital in Manhattan, New York. His fellowship in allergy was completed at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Khoudary is a clinical faculty of the Geisinger Commonwealth Medical College, and adjunct clinical faculty at the Wilkes University School of Pharmacy. Dr. Khoudary is a fellow of both the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology and the American Academy of Pediatrics, as well as being a member of the Academy of Clinical Educators. Other memberships include the Pennsylvania Allergy and Asthma Association, the Pennsylvania Medical Society, and the Luzerne County Medical Society.
Dr. Khoudary is a leading expert in the field of asthma, allergy, and immunology, and has physicians from the Wright Center, Scranton, students from Geisinger Commonwealth Medical School Scranton, and students from the Wilkes University School of Pharmacy rotate in and out of his office. He has given numerous interviews to local newspapers and local TV stations about allergies and asthma. Dr. Khoudary is fluent in English and Arabic.
